Recipes from Maria's Kitchen The Original Munch Mix Prep Time: 10 min Total Time: 45 min Makes: 16 servings, 1/2 cup each Ingredients: 4 cups POST SPOON SIZE Shredded Wheat Cereal 2 cups popped popcorn 1 cup small pretzels 1 cup PLANTERS Mixed Nuts or COCKTAIL Peanuts 1 envelope GOOD SEASONS Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. garlic powder Directions: PREHEAT oven to 300°F. Toss cereal with popcorn, pretzels and nuts in 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Sprinkle evenly with salad dressing mix. MIX butter, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. Drizzle evenly over cereal mixture; toss to coat. BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly toasted, stirring halfway through baking time. Cool. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature. KITCHENS TIPS: Spice things up by adding 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce and 1/4 tsp. chili powder to the butter mixture before drizzling over cereal mixture. Continue as directed.
