beverages |This is a replica of the coffee served at the Shannon Airport in Ireland. It was re-created by the owner of the Buena Vista Cafe in San Francisco.

Ingredients:
1 tsp sugar

3 to 5 oz. coffee

1 oz. heavy creme

1 oz. irish whiskey

Directions:
Use fresh, cold water to make coffee - 2 rounded tablespoons per 6 oz. cup (makes a very strong coffee).

Fill a 6-8 oz mug with hot water (to warm).

In a bowl, whip or froth cream lightly, so it is still pourable.

Add whiskey; stir

Hold a spoon upside down over mug and slowly pour the cream over the spoon, allowing it to float onto the top of the coffee.

Do not stir - drink through the cream.

ENJOY
